Honda Releases its new car that runs on water

My hat is off to Honda. I bow to them for this great product and what it means to humans and the planet.

Now my question is:

When will the United States and the auto makers here wake up and get a clue.

God forbid that people be able to run their vehicles on water and electricity!

The majority of the planet is filled with water. This vehicle produces Zero (0) emissions. The only bi-product is water.

I would love to see all auto makers only be able to produce vehicles that run like this. On water and electricity.

How would you feel to be able to drive past the gas station and not even care about what the fuel costs are?

The really nice part about this vehicle is that you would not be giving up any comforts that you currently enjoy. The only thing you would be giving up is the cost of fuel.

Quote from Honda:

“This is an important day in the history of fuel cell vehicle technology and a monumental step closer to the day when fuel cell cars will be part of the mainstream,” said John Mendel, executive vice president of American Honda. “Our customers and dealers share in our vision for a cleaner and more sustainable transportation future, and share in our challenge to embrace a new generation of automotive technology that we think will carry the auto industry and its customers into the future.”

I challenge law makers here in the United States to grow some and pass laws that will only allow these types of vehicles to be produced and sold in the US.

I suppose that could never happen as long as we have a president and VP that has financial interest in OIL.

Solar Light AnyTime and Anywhere

homemadesolarlight.jpg

I purchased 12 of the walkway solar lights like you find at lowes or menards for around $40-50 bucks, then ripped them apart to make lights for inside my home. The lights are charged by the sun and only come on when its dark outide.

The small LEDS are very bright. When first you look at the bulbs you might think yourself, what the hell is that going to light?

That is what I thought when I first seen the bulbs however one just needs to light one up to see what I mean.

These small LEDS are actually brighter then a store bought night light.

Due to the fact that the photo sensor and small solar panel are out doors, the light is on the inside of the house and only comes on when its dark outside and then off when its daylight out. (used to charge the battery)

One could also wire these in series to get even more voltage for larger lights. Very cool.

There is almost NO maintenance to these. The only thing that could “go bad” might be the re-chargeable battery. If this happens just replace the battery with another re-chargeable and you are on your way again.

Wind Blue and Amatek Generators

I put the Amatek beside the Wind Blue Alternator for this video. In the video it looks like the alternator will out perform the Amatek however in all fairness the Amatek is only using 3 blades which makes it take more wind then the Alternator with 6 blades. The more blades the easier its starts to spin in lower winds. (at least here @ my location)

The Amatek was quickly taken down after this video as there was no way this small thin tower would be able to handle the stress from the wind today.

Follow Up 6 Blades

On this rare day we actually have some wind here in New Buffalo Michigan. The 6 Blades are spinning like crazy. I am worried that the torque from the 6 blades might rip the tower apart.

Last night I ran the already low battery bank to the point of being DOA. I hope that I didnt wreck them as I ran them so low before correcting some problems I had with wiring.

Even at the top of the ladder here next to the garage ( 3 feet from the blades) you can not hear any wind from the blades. Nice!

Anyway, there is still alot of work to do and testing on this.

I shot 2 videos on this today for this document.
